In the spring of 2008, Mr. Lownsbery completed his graduate certification program in Designing eLearning Environments (DeE) through the University of Colorado Denver. This 18-credit program focused on the design and development of online courses and digital instructional resources. Online learning has long been an area of professional interest for Mr. Lownsbery, who integrated Moodle into his high school classroom instruction and later utilized platforms such as Schoology and Desire2Learn in his roles as both Director of Technology and adjunct instructor. Completion of this program further expanded his expertise in digital learning environments and enhanced the range of professional development and graduate-level courses he was able to design and deliver.
